RESULTS - CLUB DAY SUNDAY 13 MAY
Five shooters from the Toowoomba Small Bore Silhouette Rifle Club Inc contested the weekend shoot on Sunday morning and were treated to bright sunny conditions with a challenging wind.
John Weis, using the club's Open Target rifle, shot a fine score of 395 with. 25 centres in the 40 shot benchrest match over 50m, winning narrowly from Mike Borgelt's score 380 and Carol Borgelt's result of 372 in the Silhouette Bench Rest Class. In the 60 shot English Prone Match, junior shooter, Braydon Elliott shot a new personal best of 574 from the possible 600, while Richard Toye managed a score of 583.
A reminder to club members that the Bingera South Kolan Small Bore Rifle Championships are being held next weekend at the South Kolan Small Bore Rifle Range, Range 34 Ruths Road South Kolan. Starting times are 8:45am Saturday, 9:00am Sunday. For those members not attending the prize shoot, the next club shoot is scheduled for Sunday 20th May at 9am at the Toowoomba Pistol Club’s shooting range, Anderson Road, Helidon.
Please Note that there will be no shooting on the 27th May due to the Toowoomba Pistol Club hosting an ISSF Pistol Shoot all weekend.

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP
Our Toowoomba club will have an official Club Championship in 2012 for Prone Target, Prone Silhoutte, Benchrest and Air Rifle events. We will publish specific dates soon when our members can officially participate on specific Sundays when the scores will count towards our Club Championship. The final event for the Club Championship will be the Toowoomba Prize Shoot in the first weekend in September. We plan to shoot 5 or 6 rounds, with one round a month between now and September. Best 3 rounds count in each discipline. Open to rifle club and pistol club members.

13/2/12 - Silhouette targets have been cut out - work has commenced on the pellet traps. Some of the Junior squad have already tested the targets to much loud cheering. Will be huge fun.
29/1/12 Air Rifle metallic silhouette targets are currently under construction. We will advise when we have permission to shoot this fun and challenging event. Air rifle shooting is the cheapest form of shooting.
Henry Street Shooting Complex 50m ranges temporarily closed. Henry St 10m Air Rifle Range is open by appointment. We now shoot at the Toowoomba Pistol Club at Andersons Road, Helidon until further notice.
